Sunday - July 2

Beautiful sunny, steamy  Sunday on this holiday weekend.    We left Catrina at 7 AM and drove to Quiet Waters for a good sweaty bike ride.

The bikers with new headsets (they are awesome)!
THANKS kids!

Back to the boat for breakfast, showers and onto 10:30 Mass at St. Mary's downtown.

Yesterday when we were out and about, we found Catrina Lane which is a lovely residential area on Lake Ogleton.

We could keep Catrina on the lake and live on Catrina Lane???

We had a fun afternoon......took Catrina out (course it being a Sunday and holiday weekend, there were a ton of boats out on the Severn River - mostly sailboats).    We anchored, had lunch, Mark  got in the water (81 degrees) and cleaned dirt along the water line.   We took a nap as we bobbed gently in the water.   Nice relaxing outing ending with a trip down Ego Alley (probably last for Catrina since we are leaving Thursday).

Ego Alley is in the heart of the historic district where boats, large and small cruise thru as all the bystanders are strolling the streets.    Some are able to get a coveted spot to stay overnight or for a few hours and always lots of dinghies.

Supper was BLT's and watermelon, followed by euchre and spades which Mark
 whomped me!

At 7:00 the heavens opened up - quick shower that passed thru from DC to here.   Walked later but very muggy out.
