Tuesday - July 4

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!
Hello from Annapolis where we are celebrating our nation's 241st birthday!

We were off to bike ride this morning trying to beat the humidity, but it was brutal already at 7 AM.    Anyway, got our ride in, back to Catrina where I made bacon, eggs, fruit and toast.    Our friend Charlotte stopped by with some Blue Angel memorabilia and some packets of rice and pasta for the microwave - what a treat and will be so handy for on the boat.
Thank you Charlotte for being so thoughtful!

I did 3 loads of laundry and mid afternoon we drove to Sam's Waterfront Restaurant for very delicious lunch (Mark had crab cake sandwich and I had a Maine lobster roll).    We had planned to take the dinghy to Sam's, but Mark scouted out the area first with a dinghy ride to the entrance of Back Creek and whoaaa....rough waters and so many boats out on the river, so forget that!
 Plus it was HOT.

Well, the rain started around 7 and really poured for awhile.    We thought it would end by 9:15 (according to radar) so the fireworks would happen.    But around 9, the rain started again and they were cancelled till tomorrow night.  Rain is in the forecast for the next 3 days!

Hope wherever you are, you had fair skies and enjoyed some action in the sky plus a memorable
 July 4th holiday!
Till tomorrow night....
