We left Cole's Point at 7 AM and cruised 85 miles to Annapolis arriving at 1:00. Rain was off and on but nothing heavy. Always good to be back here and we are downtown
at the Yacht Basin Marina.
In front of us stands the burned out Annapolis Yacht Club which was severely damaged by a fire on 12-12-15 caused by faulty wiring on the Christmas tree. We are happy to see finally, there is work being done to rebuild.
Burned out yacht club that is coming back....
Our sluggers from IL ready to kick off their fall ballgames for school team
GO Corpus Christi Saints!
Batter up!
The boys played a double-header. They lost 3-2 and won 9-5!
We went to 5:00 Mass at St. Mary's - neat priest and a wonderful singer who sang a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria.
Charlotte and Doug picked us up and off to Brio for dinner. Had such a nice evening with these dear friends. Wednesday we saw Doug in DC. We wish Charlotte all the best and praying for successful surgery Tuesday when she gets her new hip!
Doug and Charlotte
After our excellent dinner and happy catch-up, they brought us back to Catrina. Radar looked nasty and it started raining just before we got out of car (no umbrella, of course). We ran to the boat and just seconds after we were inside, the heavens opened up big time!
