Rainy day but we had such a fun time......our friend, Carol picked us up at 11:15 and we were off to their summer home in Avalon on the south Jersey shore. They live near Norristown, PA. Carol and Bob's son-in-law is Tom Frosch who was the commanding officer of the Blue Angels in 2014-15. We've spent time with them in the winter when in Stuart (they winter in Jupiter). We missed Bob as he was back in PA working at their swimming pool business.
So many neat beach communities along the Jersey shore with Cape May the southernmost. Avalon is just so charming, too, and always, always.....flowers everywhere!!!!
Love their home and met their daughter Lynn and her daughter, Elena who are visiting from FL.
We picked up delicious sandwiches from Isabel's and ate at their wonderful beach home. Carol has done an awesome job decorating!
Carol brought us back to the boat around 4 with a nice side trip thru Cape May and past many "Captain's" homes" from the early 1800's. Humongous and just gorgeous!
Bob and Carol's lovely home

Looking forward to seeing she and Bob in Jupiter in January

I'm so pretty...oh sooo pretty!
Rainy afternoon....had some leftovers for supper, played some euchre and read our books!
We "hope" to cruise up the Atlantic (110 miles) tomorrow into NYC....keeping an eye on hurricane Gert and what wave action she may cause???
