Saturday - December 2

A fun Saturday for this 2nd day of December starting early with a 7:00 AM hockey game.   We picked up Doris at a closeby hotel and off we went.    Good game and Liam scored a goal, but we were outscored 7-4.     After the game we all went to Shannon's where Patrick treated us to a great breakfast.    We did a quick stop at Starbucks then said our good byes and Doris was on her way back to Chicago.    What a dear Sis she is coming to take Mark out for dinner and getting to see her great nephews play hockey (she's a big fan)!

I got a haircut late morning (beautiful day and nice walk a few blocks away from our hotel.)
Unpacked and got caught up on some e-mails and other stuff while I was gone, including checking several packages that came this past week.

I took my Santa hat from the Rockettes to Jewel/Osco this afternoon for Liam to wear.    He and Anne were ringing the Salvation Army bell and gladly accepting donations for the red kettle.   Liam had to do this as community service for Confirmation.    Luckily it was a nice day to stand and ring the bell.    I brought them hot chocolate (and donut for Liam) from Dunkin' Donuts.

Ring those bells!

Mark and I went to 4:00 Mass at Epiphany and then ran a few errands including picking up supper at HyVee - great Chinese!
Mark has a nasty cold that came on fast!     On cold meds and drinking lots of water...
