Wednesday - December 6

A good day of getting stuff done around here.    Mark was off for an 8:00 yearly checkup- and got a good report!    Always thankful for that news.    Hope 'n pray the 70's will be a healthy decade for both of us!

So, today I had nothing I needed to be out and about for (until tonight)!    I dug into organizing our clothes, stuff that needed to go back to storage or FL.    We are down to our last 9 days here at Eastland Suites.    Our time here has flown by, but still a bunch of fun stuff coming up in the days ahead.    We have stashes of presents for IL family Christmases and then taking bunch to NC piled up here in our suite.

Mark had a frustrating time getting the labels printed for our cards.   AARRGHHH....ranks right up there with Christmas lights not working!!!    But he got them printed and now onto this next project of doing the cards.

Some big news for the nomads is that we are buying a new 30' Classic Airstream Travel Trailer which will replace Daisy.    Also getting a new Ford F250 pick-up to pull the airstream (still to be named).    The truck is to be ready late December in East Peoria, IL and the Airstream later in January in Tampa.   Looking forward to more space and several other features.   Daisy is currently in Lakeland, FL and we will live on her till our new home arrives.

We did make a quick trip to storage this afternoon - burr....cold and windy out there.

Had a wonderful dinner at Baxter's with Bob and Martha,    We sat and chatted almost 3 hours.
Great friends and great food in a festive setting!
