Thursday - April 5

Congratulations to Davis
on getting his drivers license today!!!

Newest driver in the family!

The "B's" snuggling on a chilly morning...

Philip, Annette, Luke, Maeve, Brady, Mark and I left at 10 for Asheville.     Mark, Philip and Brady went bowling and the rest of us went to the Playhouse Lodge - it was a zoo with so many kids running around (spring breakers I guess).    But our 3 all had fun and we wore them out before having lunch at Panera.    The guys ate at Waffle House.

Philip and Annette are staying overnight and will enjoy a day in Asheville tomorrow before Michael and Brooke join them.   We came on home with the kiddies.   Played outside (beautiful afternoon) and on Flo.    Brooke brought supper - delicious BBQ with all the trimmings.     Much appreciated.

Brooke gave the 3 little tykes their baths - never a dull (or quiet) moment around here and getting some good pics is almost IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Playing in the boat

Maeve had to hold her own with this bunch of rowdy kids today - only got knocked down once.    She was right up and going again....

Lunch at Panera....

So very sorry to hear about the tragic accident involving one of the Thunderbird pilots who died yesterday in Nevada.

WELL......Mark read today that this afternoon, April 5th, the cherry blossoms have peaked (when 70% of the blossoms are open).    We are planning to be off to DC Sunday morning!    Snow is coming on Saturday and of course, more wind, but we ARE going!!!!
