Sunday - April 8

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY, LUKE
Growing up much too fast!

We were off at 7:37 with me behind the wheel of the big red truck.    Only 32 degrees but a sunny day and for the most part, a good trip.   Mark took over from south of Richmond onto DC - HEAVY traffic with a few accidents.

Arrived at National Harbor where Terraphobic is docked at 3:30 and had our first sighting of the cherry blossoms!

Ahhhhh

It's the 10-year anniversary for National Harbor so FREE ferris wheel rides which is right here.    And there are people everywhere bundled up against the chilly, windy weather.

So good to see our boy (been since Christmas) and he had cheese/sausage/crackers waiting for us.  We watched the Masters for a bit and then off to 5:00 Mass at The Basilica of Saint Mary in
Old Alexandria.    It was packed.    We came back to Terraphobic, had drinks and watched
Patrick Reed win the Masters.

Long lines bundled up waiting for a ride....burrrr

Dad and son walking thru National Harbor heading to church.

Ryan and a friend went out on his boat today and had this view...

from the water...

This was from yesterday, the guys watching the Masters...
Davis, Philip, Michael, Mark, Drew

Wonderful dinner at Bond 45

Tomorrow while Ryan is at work....Mark and I are going to be checking out the blossoms.
I am sooo ready!!!
