Wednesday - April 4

Crazy windy day and chilly.    We had a good night with Blair sleeping on Flo.    Annette took Luke to school and we girls got some jobs done in the house and I had them on Flo for awhile, so Annette could get things done, wrap Luke's birthday gifts, etc.

Mark and Philip worked outdoors on various projects.     We girls picked Luke up from school and drove onto Hickory - 1st stop was McDonalds and then the Catawba Science Center where we spent an afternoon seeing so many neat things.    Brooke dropped Brady off so he could enjoy it all (his 1st visit).    Brady and Blair are on spring break.     The science center is huge and very well done.
 The kids loved it.

Climbing the rock wall

Watching a movie on asteroids and comets

Gathering fruits and vegetables

3 future surgeons in the medical area

We met Mark, Philip and Maeve at Slices for early dinner - always good food.

Update on the cherry blossoms - strong winds today (30-35 mph with 50  mph gusts) -
poor blossoms!!!    They are at a delicate stage with many in full bloom and many more coming soon, BUT....more strong winds coming in a few days +++ SNOW (could be several inches)!
Getting this bucket list item checked off is being a real challenge!

The winds are still really blowing.   I've been cold all day...just such goofy weather all around the country (except for Florida)!!!

Silly Miss Priss

Tonight we have Brady and Blair as overnight guests on Flo.
