Monday - June 15

Today started out chilly (45) and sunny, but warmed up quickly and was in the 70's most of the day.    We had a big breakfast (including grilling some of Jody's cinnamon bread - yum)!    We did a load of laundry, caught up on computer stuff, read and then walked.....great park with flat, paved roads, a trail,  bouncy pads, pool, on-site restaurant, and several attractions for the little ones.

So proud of Davis who golfed with his Dad and brothers Saturday and shot a 73.....awesome!

Super neat inflatable water fun!
The grandkids would LOVE this

Some of the sites have a "she shed"

Pretty pink petunias and Old Glory

After lunch, Mark got one of Flo's propane tanks filled and then we drove into Hancock just a few miles away.    Now this little town may have been thriving back in the day, but these days, really sad with restaurant, motel, laundromat, bowling alley, gas station, beauty shop, and grocery store, all closed and sadly neglected.    They still had one motel, 2 churches, nice park and playground, library and a bar open..

They are having a fish fry here Friday night at "Wonderwall" - boy, that sounds good - nothing like a good ole Wisconsin fish fry.    But, we'll be long gone.

Did Zoom with Nancy and Karen.....more walking and just enjoyed a nice leisurely day....back on the road tomorrow heading to Duluth, Minnesota.

We talked to the father of the owner of this Oasis Park today.   He helps out and we told him what a great place it was and how nice they keep it up.   He said all weekends between now and end of August are booked solid.     Not surprised - wonderful place to bring your family.    We would give it an A+ rating.

Facetime with Blair tonight!    What a character!!!!
