Monday - June 8

92 today (felt like 98) - steamy out there but did have a nice breeze.    We were off to town and picked up Liam for baseball practice at O'Neill Park (Connor has it tonight - 2 hours).    We stopped at Coffee Hound and got some iced coffees - so strange to see all the tables and chairs stacked in the back and just a makeshift counter to order.    

Dropped off some more stuff at storage and then to pick up rental car - going to drive a Nissan Sentra (FL plates) this week.    We were each coming and going and taking truck in later this week for oil change so needed another set of wheels.    We parted ways with Mark heading back to KK and me picking up Liam.

Back to the Campbell's - Anne took Liam to driver's training (1st of 6 sessions) as she had to do paper work, so took him on her lunch hour,     I picked him up afterwards, brought him home and then back to KK.

Did Zoom with 2 sisters and caught up with Mark who has been doing logistics for our trip including reservations for campgrounds.

Tonight 7 of the Monday Night Friends gathered in Connie's driveway (6' apart) out in the country for a good gab fest, pizza, drinks and assorted bundt cakes!     So fun to be with these gals and catch up!

Back to KK and what a beautiful evening - Mark and I walked 2x around the campground.    The sky was on FIRE....but my phone did not do it justice!
