Wednesday - June 3

Nice 'n sunny when we left Whispering Hills at 8:07 today.    Rain is in the forecast for Jackson Center, OH, so was hoping to beat it.    Good trip (190 miles) with no traffic or weather issues.

Airstream's headquarters are here in Jackson City a little town of 1400+.     It's all about Airstream and their many buildings and over 1200 employees.    They have 24 circular spots for RV's to hook up to electrical and water when here for maintenance and overnight stays depending how long it takes to get your camper ready to roll again.     We settled in and then off to "Split Decision" for lunch.    This place is on the main drag (not a lot of choices here) in a large 2-story old brick house.    We had thought we would carry out but this place has a nice big wrap-around porch with tables spread well apart.    They weren't that busy at 12:45, so no problem with the distancing and a very nice breeze.    We had awesome hot sub sandwiches and then back to Flo.

Mark walked to the office to check us in and prepare for tomorrow's check-up and went over our list.   Everyone wearing masks, took his temp, and filled out a health form.   I walked around the BIG building (one of several) and back to Flo - 89 degrees here.

Nice quiet afternoon reading my kindle and enjoying the AC.   Did zoom with 3 of Mark's sisters.

We went for a walk around the huge parking lot and always fun to see all the Airstreams from all over the country.

Rain was supposed to start at 1, but now been put off till midnight and continuing the next 24 hours.

We have 7 AM appt. tomorrow - the tractor will come hook up Flo and off they'll go.    Mark and I are planning a little outing with Big Red and check out some Ohio countryside.
