Hot one today hitting 90+. After breakfast we loaded up the car with laundry and off to get that task done. 1st stop was Biggby coffee and then got the 3 washers going. We are lucky to have such a nice facility here in Port Clinton - large, clean, good music and use a pre-paid card instead of coins.
Stopped at Dollar Tree for some piddlies on our way home. Mark worked on some boat projects (mainly the dinghy engine and at this point, it is running, so....?)
At 2:30 I got a text that my prescription was ready at CVS in Sandusky, so we hopped in the car and drove there - about 20 miles. Shopped at Target, picked up my meds and saw some Moms and their kiddos walking around with school list and picking up supplies. Mark thought we should have an early supper. We wanted to be downtown so The Dockside Cafe came up with good reviews. It was a walk-up place with drinks and lots of food choices under a big tent overlooking the lake with the roller coasters at Cedar Point in the distance. We shared shrimp nachos and each had a walleye taco - all very good.
Came on home with just a few sprinkles but by the time we got back to Port Clinton, everything was very wet and they obviously had a downpour. Hunkered down on Catrina as the rain started again and really poured around 5:15.
Read, played some cards (Mark won both games), and he watched a movie.
