Friday - June 17

Sunny and very windy but nice refreshing temps in the low 80's - felt really good after 2 days of extreme heat.

We exercised, had breakfast and Mark was off to run several errands.    I took all our navy outside screens (10) and scrubbed and hosed down - didn't take long to dry.   Mark returned and got them on the proper windows - Catrina looks sooo good.    Having the pros clean sure makes a difference and makes Mama very happy!

Mark changed the impellers on the 2 engines thinking that could be the issue, but we'll know more next week when the technology tells us what is going on with port engine.

Walked downtown for some ice cream (chocolate shake for Mark and brown sugar bourbon truffle dish for me) at RJ's.  While we were enjoying our treats, Mark noticed this picture on the wall..............wow, an ice cream (from long ago) named after me!!!!!😀

Bet it was good stuff back in the day?

We noticed several of the light posts had purple ribbons tied to them but lady in ice cream shop didn't know what they were for.    As we were walking down the street, a gal was outside her new children's shop opening June 24th.    Darling clothes in the windows, so look forward to checking that out next week.    Clothes will be newborn to size 14 which will work for our 3 littles......name of her shop will be "Lakelynn Littles and Home" and she invited me to the ribbon cutting ceremony next week.    I asked her about the purple ribbons and she said it was for "Women Against Domestic Violence" and they were having several activities downtown this weekend.

Back to Catrina to read and relax - still very windy out there.  Walked later on.

Enjoy your weekend!
