Friday - September 2

Mark and I always do the Daily Challenge for Solitaire and Sudoku each day.    Today's Solitaire was especially challenging and we were both determined we were gonna figure this out - he got it first but a frustrating start to the day!    Ha!!!   I made bacon, eggs and toast and then slowly started our back 'n forth trips between homes.

Day 7 - Feeling about the same - wake up with energy+ but later in the morning, ready to take a break and do nuthin'.    This stuff really zaps ya and still patiently (not) waiting for it to all go away.    We switched from Mucinex and 12-hour Mucinex to Zyrtec and at least the heads are a bit better.     Our symptoms at this point are slight coughs, head congestion and fatigue.     Mark decided to test again today..............still positive!   I'm not ready to see those 2 pink lines again.

This is the big Labor Day weekend bash here in Port Clinton - 17th Annual PPPP Festival (Perch, Peach, Pierogi and Polka) sponsored by the Knights of Columbus thru Immaculate Conception Parish.     Sure was planning to enjoy some of this yummy food?    We shall see?

The new owners of "Blessed" the beautiful 55' Fleming Motor Yacht arrived this afternoon.  They had a Penske van loaded with all their stuff and moved it all into the boat.    Gee, we would've loved to chat and get their story.....they're from Virginia.      Mark had a nice chat with the guy (from a distance).   😞

And then UPS delivered a package from my Monday Night Friend, Jody.......she sent a a box with 2 adorable baggies with her delicious homemade cookies.    Now this made our day!    We were so ready for a sweet treat!

Delicious and such cute little Rx baggies
THANK YOU, JODY!!!

Flo is slowly coming together.    Got most of our clothes and some non-perishable food items transferred.

Mark grilled salmon tonight and along with pasta, made for a tasty supper.    We're getting  down to "slim pickins" in the food department

Enjoy your holiday weekend - stay safe, healthy and have fun!
