Wednesday - September 7

Beautiful day - 73.    Lovin' this early-fall-like weather with cool mornings and evenings and warm sunny days!    Pumpkins and mum plants are everywhere!

Our last day in Port Clinton!   Mark had several jobs on Catrina to wrap up today - tomorrow she will be lifted out for the season and stored till Memorial Day weekend.    It sure has been a fun summer and we enjoyed all our visitors (Luke and Blair, Megan and Alex, Marilyn, Auntie Karen and Karen, Mark and Brenda, Davis, and Joan, Joe, Sue and Steve).    And we had to cancel Bob, Linda, Allie and Owen cause of Covid.    Today, our neighbor at Cypress Trail (Dick and Kate) were to stop by for lunch but had to cancel as their plans changed.    We'll see them back in Fort Myers.

And happy to have Catrina running like a charm after all the frustration for Mark and mechanics trying to figure the engine issue - 2 little relays replaced and she was good to go!

I ran a few errands this morning; lunch; and later this afternoon I walked to Coffee Express for a treat (had a freebie coming from punch card - buy 10 drinks, get 1 free).   Their raspberry/mocha cooler is sooo awesome.    Brought Mark back a chocolate chip cookie (snack) and a cinnamon roll for breakfast tomorrow.

I'm meeting my brother Bob and Linda in Shipshewana, IN tomorrow (salvage a bit of what we had planned before Covid hit).    Mark and Flo will join us later.    Friday, onto Kamp Komfort.

One more walk around the marina tonight....

This is as far as new storage building got before we left - was supposed to be finished by mid October?    We'll see the brand new facility next spring!
