HAPPY ANNIVERSARY and THANK YOU for LUKE and MAEVE đŸ’“đŸ’“
We arrived at Kamp Komfort at 2:15 - alleluia! So happy to be off the road after a rainy start to the day (drove 1.5 hrs in rain and then sun/clouds rest of the way.) Stopped in Knightstown, IN for diesel for Big Red and gas for Little Navy. Lunch at the Beef House in Covington, IN (close to IL border) - always a favorite!
We kept truckin' on (357 miles from the Alton RV Park to Kamp Komfort.) Good to see Micci in the office and catch up. Lots of rain here last night + hail and strong winds. Parts of the area got over 5". So much water standing in the fields in IN and IL.
We are in our same familiar spot #62 till May 25th. Lots going on these next 2.5 weeks but just happy to be off the road!
It was such a fun weekend with family.....next big event will be another nephew's wedding in Delafield, WI (sister Janet's son, Danny and Julia who live in Boston) August 26th.
No zoom tonight since we were just all together!
