Wednesday - May 10

A big day for we nomads - off to town to meet Barb and Roger at the airport.   Mark drove and we headed to Danville (1.5 hrs) to meet our long-time boating friend from many years ago, Carolyn.    We share so many happy memories from fun times with John (he passed away in 2014) and Carolyn.    They lived in FL for many years and this past August, Carolyn moved back to Danville and a retirement community to be closer to her 103-year old mother who died a few months ago.

It was sooo good to see her and catch up.    She has a nice apartment and still doing her beautiful quilting (sooo much talent).    We all went to the Slotted Spoon for very good lunch and topped off by $1 brownies today (3 kinds all very good).    Took some pics and then good bye hugs.

Such a good day to be with these dear friends and Barb and I yakked all the way over and back!

Said our good byes to Barb and Roger and Mark and I headed to McGraw Park to watch Liam play tennis (my 1st time ever)!!!   He did great and won his doubles match with Logan and the Saints won overall.   It was Senior Night and the 7 seniors were recognized with their contribution to the team, where they're going to college and their major.    Coach Laura praised Liam for his tennis skills having just played for 1st time this year.

They had wraps, chips, cake, etc., but we were still full from lunch.....said our good byes and back to KK.   It was a beautiful day to be out and about and so glad we got to see Liam in action!
