HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Drewby...

We so remember this day 15 years ago and now so proud of the very
nice young man he has become!

Catching some rays in Pensacola

And after school today - getting his driver's permit!
Tah dah.....congrats Drew and good luck!

Foggy when we left Bessemer this morning and then had the gamut of just a smidgeon of sun, but mostly gloomy, dreary, misty rain and very windy.   Then the rain came harder and we checked radar and saw ice and snow ahead….ugh!    Stopped in Paducah for lunch – ugly day to be on the road and trees were icy/frosty with the salt trucks out and about.    Later this afternoon, we finally got some sunshine and dry roads!

Yesterday I was wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip flops – today, long pants and long-sleeved shirt, sox and jacket!    We hit 75 yesterday - today is an entirely different story!

Mark had a craving for a good piece of pie, so we stopped in Arthur (Amish country) and had our pie at Yoder's Kitchen (cherry alamode for him and coconut cream for me) - both were wonderful along with a cup of hot coffee and tea.   Getting out of the car - 23 degrees and very windy ---- ahhhh...ready to head right back to Florida!!!

We arrived home at 6:30 - home feels and looks good!  21 degrees!!!
We will deal with the weather day by day - ha!!!

Here's our sweet Luke playing at the beach on St. George Island.

Good day of travel with Daisy and crew - they are close to Apalachicola where we spent 3 weeks in 2010 after my accident in St. Pete.    Keep on having fun, kiddos....and hope you enjoy the camping as much as we do!
