Saturday - March 3

A cool start to the day but temp and sunshine made for a perfect day....a few degrees can really make a difference and after all the heat of February, this was most welcome.    Fort Myers and Naples broke records for February!

We left Flo shortly after 9 for Sanibel not knowing what traffic would be like.    No trouble getting to the island and had 1/2 hour to browse some of the shops in Tahitian Village.     Then we met our friend Paul at Gramma Dots for early lunch, but as always, a line waiting for them to open.    It was sooo good (I had a caesar salad with sea bass and mango salsa....oh my)!    It was so good to catch up on all the goings on from back home and Paul is always a wealth of news!    After lunch he invited us to his condo - so nice sitting on the lanai overlooking the gulf with a nice breeze.    We visited another 2 hours or so and then made a plan to get together in May when we're back in Bloomington.

Stopped at a few shops along the way and back to Flo at 4.

That nor easter (Riley) that hit Thursday thru today was really something!    Ryan and his boat felt the effects from the very strong winds in DC.    All federal offices were closed yesterday and he was rockin' and rollin' around on Terraphobic!

Today would've been Mark's Mother's 92nd birthday.    It also marks the 8th anniversary of our accident in St. Pete (fractured shoulder)!    My how time flies!

Proud of Liam and Connor and their straight A (1 B+ for Connor) report cards!!!
