Saturday - April 2

Today was extremely humid with lots of sunshine!   We went for a "short" walk and were soon dripping!    Enjoyed the AC most of the day.    We did work in the she shed organizing which stuff we want to take with us to NC and IL and what will stay here.   Did a load of laundry and Mark blew off all the crud (leaves, bougainvillea and impatiens blossoms and other debris) from the driveway.   With all the wind we've had lately, it's hard to keep things neat 'n tidy!

Enjoyed a quiet cool afternoon on Flo reading and napping!    Gotta love those little power naps!    Later we played some 2-handed euchre with Mark winning 2 of 3 (close games)!

Our neighbor, Dick from Massachusetts came over at 4:30 with sangria and fruit.   I had the snacks and we had a 2.5 hour visit.    The weather was threatening so decided to end our conversation, say goodnight and move indoors.    Will we get some rain or not?    That is the question!!!

Dick graduated from MIT and his first job out of college was with Peat, Marwick and Mitchell (now KPMG) and where our Drew will be starting his first job in early June.

The first rain drops came at 7:51.    Been so long since we've heard that sound on Flo's rooftop!    Sounds wonderful!!!

And then there's this beauty Ryan sent from his deck tonight...

A nice fire, a glass of wine, mountains in the distance.....life is good at Lake James
