Thursday October 24

Off at 8:10 for final doctor appointment this week with my hand surgeon, Dr. Sandra Collins at Florida Center for Orthopedics.  But first a stop at Starbucks.

Dr. Collins asked if my hand was any better - "No" and then did a nerve test which showed slight improvement.   Nerves take a LONG time to heal, so.....one suggestion was eat more leafy greens and come back in 3 months!   Could possibly do some radiation therapy at some point?

Ran a bunch of errands and then met John and Beth at KJ's Steakhouse - had never been, but a very popular, busy place - maybe cause of their $8 burger which included fries and drink.

Sooo good to see these dear friends and catch up - we yakked and yakked and enjoyed our lunch.   So much to chat about!

John, Beth, Pat, Mark

We stopped at Broadway Palms Theater and got tickets for a buffet luncheon/Christmas show on Christmas Day and we'll join John and Beth, Doug and Charlotte for some holiday fun.

A light supper and then walked and met Paul and Sue from Springfield, IL - had a great visit - they are in charge of euchre and will start that up in January - Thursday nights.

We are flying to Milwaukee tomorrow afternoon for our niece's wedding.    We'll be back Sunday, so no blog for a few days!   Enjoy your weekend!
