On this feast day of St. Joseph, we celebrate our grandson, Davis's 24th birthday! He's made us very proud with his easy-going ways but strong work ethnic as he loves his job as a mechanical engineer in NC and being a new homeowner!
We were up and off early for Collins Vision and my check-up with Dr. Friedrich for the eyes. My right eye is still a little blurry, but he says all looks great and to try some refresh tears as they may be dry? I'll have my yearly eye check-up in a few weeks.
We had breakfast at Keke's, then to WalMart to pick up a Rx that wasn't ready yesterday.
We had planned to have dinner tonight with friends at Cooper's Hawk, but those plans fell thru.
Our neighbors, Barb and Joe invited us and other friends of theirs (Jim and Debbie from NY) for cake and ice cream and to meet their granddaughter, Meagan who is a freshman at Murray State College in KY and here visiting for spring break. Really nice evening.
Got our new flag pole that was damaged in Monday night's storm....Mark got it assembled and Old Glory is proudly flying again at #102.
