Monday - May 4

Mark left at 8:15 for the Hornet's Nest in Heyworth to meet the Monday morning group.    He was with Pat, Darrel, Ken and Sigrun who hung out with the guys s Sue, Brenda and I were off to Chicago.

I stopped at Jasper's Java for coffees for the girls and then we met at Nadine's and piled into Marsha's new car and off to Chenoa to pick up Ruth.    Brenda brought blueberry muffins and then we were on our way to Glenview to visit (and surprise) Linda, our ole buddy who moved from Bloomington about 2 years ago.    She and Bob are now just minutes away from their 2 grandchildren.   

What a fun day with 8 Monday Night Friends gathering to yak the day away.   Jody brought lunch for all - chicken salad, lettuce/fruit salad, muffins and apple crisp. Marsha bought some photo albums from way back and oh the laughs and memories.

It was VERY windy!!!

We said our good byes to Linda and left at 3:30 - ugh...rush-hour trafic and then some heavy rain around Joliet.    We decided we were all hungry so had supper at the Chenoa family restaurant.   Took Ruth home and onto Bloomington and I got back to KK at 8:10.    Big day but lots of fun.

As I'm writing this, it is pouring cats and dogs and we've had some hail!!!    Nighty night
