It's Thursday...........chilly here in south FL. I met my friend, Claire for some shopping and lunch at Mimi's Cafe. Great to catch up with her. At night, Connie and Steve came to Daisy and we had drinks and snacks and off to P. F Chang's Connie and Steve at entrance to restaurant with the welcoming horse!
We 4 enjoyed a bountiful feast and good visit!

Today is Liam's "Golden" Birthday - 4 on the 4th.....Happy Birthday, Sweetie!!! We had a leisurely day on Daisy - did a load of laundry, walked around the park and to Publix (very windy again) and waiting for the COLD to arrive (could break some records here in Fort Myers next two nights)!!! The Birthday Boy

February 3

Sunny, cool and very windy....we went to breakfrast at "Talk of the Town" (a favorite from last year) and then drove to Pine Island (Bokeelia and St. James City). Shopped at the new Surfside shops in Cape Coral and had yummy treat at "The Ice Cream Club".Talk of the Town
The pier at Bokeelia. Had planned to ride our bikes, (great bike path on the island) but with the strong winds, we wimped out!
Can't see this really clear, but across the water on a sandbar, an approximately 10' alligator was sunning himself here in the park today.
Rode our bikes to Skip 1 Seafoods and brought one "Fisherman's Platter" back to Daisy - very good and very fresh! This place is on Tamiami Trail (close to RV park) and always packed!

February 2

A leisurely day on Daisy with rain this morning. Mark got Toad's (car) oil changed and brakes checked. I did some cleaning and tidying up.

Read this afternoon and then the heavens really opened up! Now looking forward to the sun returning tomorrow, but cooler temps all week!
