We left the beautiful flatlands, hills and mountains of Montana this morning taking lots of pictures and memories with us. What "magic" God created in Big Sky country! We stopped in Sweetgrass, MT at the border patrol to get our Nexus cards. After interviews, mug shots and fingerprints taken, we were cleared to go and should get our cards within 2 weeks. A Nexus card makes going thru customs back and forth from Canada and the US much easier especially when we're on a boat. We cleared customs and were on our way...

We are in Cochrane, Alberta tonight - pretty little town west of Calgary. Ate a late lunch at Schooner's on First Seafood Place (very good) and these pretty lilacs were outside the restaurant. Mark and I had a good laugh as we've seen lilacs blooming in several states at different times from FL to here in Canada and on June 16, they are in their prime!!! And that smell is just pure heaven!
