We exercised, loaded up the bikes on back of car and drove 2 miles, parked and rode the bikes 2.5 miles to meet 16 long-time boating friends who came from IL, MI, MO and FL. Riding our bikes served a 2-fold purpose....exercise and avoided the traffic going to the beach which is very heavy on a nice day. Some of our group took a long time getting there with traffic.
So good to see these folks and catch up....we met at Doc Ford's and all enjoyed our meals and drinks! Just a very delightful afternoon - then the clouds rolled in and threat of storms. Rode our bikes back to car, hooked them up and on home to Daisy.

And yet another horrible storm happening in the southeast tonight!
Florida is getting pounded with storms, tornado warnings, etc.
As I write this, we are getting very heavy rain!
