Tuesday - January 3

We just returned from dinner at the "Original Tiki Hut" here in Fort Pierce.   It was a long, but good day of travel leaving Daytona beach at 7:15 and arriving here at 4:50.

We cruised 135 miles and saw more damage from Hurricane Matthew including several sailboats on land, tipped over or just a bit of the mast showing.   Yikes.....along with several more roofs with tarps.

We have just 30 miles to Stuart tomorrow - yeah!!!

I had a delicious salad tonight (sweet potato encrusted mahi mahi served over greens and all kinds of goodies with fresh mango and a wonderful poppy seed dressing.   Mark had shrimp.

Excellent salad

There are 2 restaurants here at the marina and after dinner, we strolled thru the city park which is full of palm trees and all decorated with lights that change colors to the music.

When the lights were green....

And then multi colored

Absolutely beautiful evening..still 76 degrees!    Sorry to hear it's going to get really cold back in
 IL the next few days...
