Wednesday - January 4

We are in Stuart......left Fort Pierce in nasty fog at 8:15 and arrived here at 10:45.    Fortunately the fog did improve and then nice sunny skies.   We had heard this was a very friendly marina and that was the case when Jim welcomed us and helped tie up.     We are near several condos (had checked out this area 1 year ago) and had lunch at the Harborage Yacht Club - great Reuben and fish tacos.

Right after lunch, Philip arrived and he and Mark left for Lake Worth (1 hr.) to get our car.   I did a load of laundry (warm clothes for Mark to take on Ryan's boat as they head to COLD Washington, DC) and got back to the boat within seconds of a torrential rain.    I kept watching the weather - nasty and prayed I would make it back (long walk) and apparently God was watching out for me cause I just got back on Catrina, as the first sprinkles started and then the deluge!!!    Also, meant I didn't have to wash off the salt water!   Can't beat fresh rainwater!

Mark returned around 4 (he didn't drive thru any rain)!    We settled in and making plans for the next few days.    Good to be back in Stuart where we had thought we would settle one day, but with Philip and Annette moving to North Carolina, those plans are up in the air!    We have no clue where we'll put down some roots or when...

Sunset here at the Loggerhead Marina in Stuart

This is Day 3 of being on the meds....sure can't say there's been any significant improvement - still blowing my nose and coughing!!!   UGH!!!

Today the 2017 Blue Angels left Pensacola for their 10 weeks of winter training in El Centro, CA.
Sad seeing all the pics on Facebook saying good bye to their families.
We wish them a successful and safe year!!!
Once a Blue....ALWAYS a Blue!
