Friday - March 3

Sooo glad we crossed the lake yesterday cause what a difference a day makes.....today, mostly cloudy with strong winds.    By 9:00, we had exercised, had breakfast, pulled up the anchors and gone thru the last lock (St. Lucie).

Nice short jaunt to Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart where we are nestled amongst all the BIG yachts from all over the country!    Catrina is just a little babe here.   Ha....

Our RV friends from Okeechobee came to visit and have lunch at Sailors Return.    It was so good to see Gary and Sue again - sorry Sue and Jud couldn't make it as Jud is sick.    After our yummy lunch, we came back to Catrina and visited!   So fun to catch up with all the happenings at Waters' Edge RV Park.....really sorry to hear about illnesses and the awful accident of Joanie falling and breaking both ankles    Good memories of many happy hours with them in January, '16.

Today would've been Mark's Mother's 91st birthday - we sure miss her!     Also today marks the 7th anniversary of our accident (pedestrian/car) in St. Petersburg - 3/3/10.  Shoulder is great!

My flowers from Valentine's Day (3+ weeks ago) are still so pretty

whoaaa...who is this boy with the big cheeks and helmet?
Why it's Luke!

And always enjoy a new pic of our happy girl

We had a nice leisurely afternoon catching up on e-mails and other computer stuff, reading, etc., as the winds kept blowing.   But, tah dah....around 2:30 the sun came out!    Love it!!!

So, March is off and running and going to be a very busy month with trips to CA (wedding), NC (babysit), moving the boat up the east coast eventually to Daytona Beach where Anne and family will join us for spring break, trip to Fort Myers to get our car, and a gathering of cousins (mine) in Daytona later in the month!

Our 3 boys are at Lake James this weekend dealing with techie stuff - AV and camera set up for Philip's new house!

Have a great weekend!
