Sunday - March 5

Bright sunshiny day....but strong winds AGAIN as promised and to continue thru Monday.

Tom and Mary Carol picked us up at 8:30 and we were off to Holy Cross for 9:00 Mass.   Nice mass, homily and Irish priest, Father Murphy.    From there we went to The Lemon Tree for awesome breakfast after about a 40-minute wait.   It was so fun catching up with them, showing pics on our phones of our kids, grandkids, etc.    Could've sat and yakked all day long; however, we were to be out of the marina by noon, so....we skedaddled back to Catrina, Tom and Mary Carol came aboard for a quick tour and we were on our way around noonish.

It was definitely rough out there with some beam seas (hitting us sideways), lots of whitecaps, etc., but overall, not that bad....we cruised 55 miles and arrived at Cocoa Village Marina at 3:45.  Tricia, the dockmaster is so friendly and helped secure lines
(happiness is seeing 1 or more folks on the dock waiting to throw the lines to).

We checked into the office and wow....beautiful boater's lounge, bathrooms, laundry, etc.

While we are off to CA for our niece's wedding later this week and then to NC to babysit, this should be a nice "home" for Catrina till we return on the 17th.

Maeve's "Pa" and "Nana" are having fun with her while Mommy and Luke are traveling.
"Pa" decided to "help" Maeve's hair grow, so....

Whoaaaa, are you sure about this stuff, Pa?

Tah dah...Maeve has hair...lots of hair!   And as always happy, happy!

We walked to downtown Cocoa Village - oh my....many restaurants, cute shops, antiques, art galleries, etc.    Will check it out tomorrow

Had yummy dinner at Ryan's Pizza and Pub - busy, fun Irish place!     Several places were
closed on Sunday night,

My cousin Paulette and husband, Marty live in Cocoa Beach....looking forward to seeing them tomorrow night!
