Wednesday - March 8

What a treat to wake up to sunshine and very calm conditions!    Tah dah.....that wind has been something else and thinking what a pretty day to be on the water, but we nomads are off to
Fort Lauderdale...

We exercised and then walked downtown to Ossorio's for great breakfast - cute, funky place serving breakfast/lunch/pastries, wood-fired pizzas, beer/wine, homemade ice cream, etc., etc.

The guys came at 8:30ish to continue the detailing wok on Catrina.

Walked around the Cocoa Riverfront Park which is connected to Taylor Park full of colorful benches that local artists have painted.    What a lovely area on the water with a huge amphitheater, bricked paved walkways, sand volleyball lot, big water fountain and playground for the children, etc.

Lady making another bench pretty and colorful
Each one is so unique....here are just a few!

Flowers and decorated rocks...

We have really enjoyed downtown Cocoa.....it just oozes charm, friendly people, good shopping and eating!    What more could you ask for?

We left Cocoa at 12:45 in our rental car and headed south.    Stopped in Jensen Beach and checked out 2 RV parks for next January.    One was a definite "NO"!!!    The other one is iffy?    Had a light lunch at Jan's and then on south where we hit the rush hour traffic.

Staying tonight in Dania Beach and very close to Philip and Annette's ole stomping grounds before they moved to Lake Worth.     We drove to the beach, walked the Hollywood brick boardwalk and had a great dinner at Flicker Lite's on the ICW as the big yachts cruised by.

Early departure to San Francisco tomorrow, so....nighty night!

CALIFORNIA....here we come!!!
