Monday - May 1

HAPPY MAY DAY!

 

Sure doesn't feel like May - what a cold, blustery, sunless day to start this beautiful month!

 

We were off to 8:00 Mass which Liam was serving  He was lighting the candles and looked over to where we were sitting - SURPRISE!!!!    He had a big grin on his face as we did.    Missed these boys....we took him to school after Mass.

 

 Then to breakfast with the Monday morning bunch and so good to see all of them - been since mid December that we were in  Bloomington.    Afterwards we ran some errands, went to our storage unit, got groceries and on back to Daisy and stayed indoors.

Did some reorganizing of drawers and closets.    Can't get the summery stuff out just yet....burr...with the strong winds here, it feels like 44.

We played spades in the afternoon and I stopped in to see the Campbell's for a short visit before meeting the Monday Night Friends for dinner at Baxter's.    Fun being with these gals
 (8 out of 11) and we enjoyed the usual non-stop chatter over good food and wine!

The wind is as strong as ever and raining again...
