Tuesday - May 2

Bright and sunny this morning but only 41.    I fixed Mark an egg/sausage/cheese omelet with English muffin.   I took off for town and walked at the mall (Mark has started back with the weight lifting, but I'm still babying my shoulder and concentrating on the walking for now)!

I knew Eastland Mall was hurting and that major stores (Macy's, MC Sporting Goods and Penney's are closing), but there were 16 vacant store spots.    Wow....how sad.
And Sears is hanging on by a thread!

I picked up Patty, my long-time friend from FL who is visiting family here.   We had a long, leisurely, delicious lunch at Destihl and then since it was such a cold, windy day, we went to Starbucks for coffee and more yakkin'.    I took her back to her son's home and then picked up Liam and brought him out to Kamp Komfort     Anne and Patrick were with Connor for his track meet.    We took Liam to Busy Corner for supper (and pie) and then to hockey practice which Connor joined later,     BUSY household with parents and kids going in every direction.

Liam loves the French Silk pie - finger-lickin good!

Patty's grandson, Jack was practicing just before Liam and Connor so we got to visit some more, along with her husband, Doug, son David and family
What fun as we haven't seen them in several years.

Patty and Pat

We visited with Patrick while the boys practiced - Anne had an end-of-the-year-school-club-meeting.    Mark and I came back to Daisy - gosh it's chilly out and to be 38 by morning!

Mark's parents had 13 children (10 girls and 3 boys).  And then 38 grandchildren (19 boys and 19 girls) came along.   This weekend will be a big milestone when the last grandchild graduates
from college.

Our niece Megan will graduate magna cum laude on Saturday from Ohio State and has a job as a UX designer (helping people design web pages so they are more customer friendly).

Grandma and Grandpa C would've been so proud!!!
