The calendar says May 3rd, but the temps just continue to hover in the 50's, no sun, and more rain and wind coming our way. But I should not complain when we see what the folks in the St. Louis area are dealing with. Mark's brother and family are very near all the flooding. And then there's the devastating tornado in Canton, Texas.
Mark hibernated on Daisy all day. Yesterday he took her to the big truck wash and they did a nice job of cleaning all the dirt and nastiness from driving back in the rain on Sunday.
I went to town around 8:30, walked at the mall and then ran some errands before meeting Claire at Biaggi's for delicious lunch. Although we were together in NC last week, still lots of yakkin'.
Pat and Claire
I came back to Daisy and hunkered down - we played spades and euchre (tah dah..2 wins for me).
We worked on some logistics for the rest of the year. Sat down with our calendars and went over where we're going and when and how we're getting there......boat, car, plane??? We are off and running for the next 7 months with lots more fun stuff coming, God willing!
