Scrambled eggs, ham and toast for breakfast. Caught up on computer and book work.
We talked about going to Connor's game in Champaign this afternoon but with the cool temps and winds, decided I should not be sitting outdoors. Eyes are looking and feeling better and cold symptoms are gradually improving! Voice, almost back to normal!
Connor pitched the entire game and the Renegades won 12-1 with Connor named MVP!
Congrats Connor!!!
We went to 4:00 Mass at St. Luke's in Eureka and then to the Chanticleer for dinner. This supper club has been around for a long time and always good. Since we've had so much seafood all winter in FL, decided a good Midwest steak was in order. Mark had a ribeye and a filet for me - excellent topped off with sharing creme brulee.
Unbelievable about the Kentucky Derby today and winner being disqualified!!! Our friends, Ron and Lois from Canada were there.
Yesterday Annette and her Mom who is visiting from IL took Luke and Maeve (Luke's class field trip) to the zoo in Asheboro, NC. They had a great time. Mark remembers taking Brady to same zoo several years ago.
Luke is on a mission studying the map
