Thursday - May 2

No rain overnight but started again around 6 AM.....just devastating to see all the horrible destruction from tornadoes and flooding around the country,

My eyes are still red and voice is hoarse.....getting impatient with these ailments!

Around 10ish we went into town (rain has stopped) - ran several errands and then Mark dropped me off at Mandarin Gardens where I met the BBB Girls (Babies, Books and Bridge) - long time friends from the early 70's (some of us) playing bridge with the husbands and raising our families.

We missed Ruth and Holly.    Holly's 103-year old father passed away recently.    All of us (except Karen) were together in Fort Myers this winter, but as usual, lots to catch up on and especially hear Karen's news.

Karen, Pat, Cathy, Sue, Sharon

Mark picked me up and oh yes.....rain is really coming down.   Drove back to Flo and hunkered down once again as the rain beats down on Flo.

The rain finally stopped around 4 and doesn't look like any more coming our way.   While we love being cozy inside Flo, enough is enough - missing walks in the park, warmer temps and most of all, the sunshine!

Our neighbors from SD still have a lake outside their door.   The guy moved their picnic table near the door and they walk across that and finally get to dryer ground.    Lots of water still standing, but slowly going down.
Shelter and picnic tables surrounded by water
Playground has water standing and almost to this little horse which Luke rode when he
 visited a few years ago

Davis's high school team (UCHS) won their conference golf tournament today with Davis shooting an 80 and getting All-Conference. -
  Congratulations!!!
