Saturday-Sunday, September 7-8

Busy fun Saturday off to Dixon to visit Mark's Mom with a stop in Sublette to put a basket of fall flowers on my parents graves.   Also got some goodies at the Farmers Market and had a good visit with a long-time friend, Theresa (it was her goodies we bought)!     Nice visit with Mark's Mom and 3 of his sisters, Nancy, Sue and Karen.    Karen went with us to lunch at Sandy's and then we took a basket of flowers to put on Mark's Dad's grave.     Sue does a lot of canning and offered us some of her harvest of goodies which we will thoroughly enjoy.    Went out in the country and had a good chat with Tom, too.    Had a few more stops and then to Mendota to visit my brothers and wives.   Had yummy supper at Bob and Linda's and we gals finalized out plans for big trip coming up to Charleston/Savannah the 16th-21st.    Home at 9:15.

Very grateful for the 6/10" of rain we got during the night - lots of thunder rumbling around 3 AM.

Sunday - Luke is 5 months today - he is with Mommy, Daddy and friends at Lake James, NC  for a weeks' vacation

Boating on Lake James early Sunday - got my sweats on to keep warm!
Big boy sitting on the rocks

Went to 10:00 Mass....home to dig in and sort thru piles and put stuff away or start new piles for our winter in FL.    Got out some fall décor and spruced up the house a bit!   Had some yummy sweet corn from Bob
(Mendota is the Sweet Corn Capital of the World)  and some great salads (leftovers from last night) for lunch!

Picked up some sandwiches from Jimmy Johns and had a quick supper with Anne and family before Liam's game at 5:30.....beautiful evening to sit at the ole ballpark and even though the orange team lost, Liam had a double and triple!

Warming up just before the big triple!
Connor lost a front tooth today.....
