Wednesday - July 2

Hello from the Inner Harbor of Baltimore - so good to be back with all the boats, old buildings, aquarium, science center, shops, restaurants, Federal Hill, Fells Point and on and on!    Love it!!!!

Inner Harbor - where the action is!

We left our anchorage at 10:30 and just a little jaunt (18 miles) to our slip near the Rusty Scupper (for those familiar with the area).    It is beastly HOT!    After lunch, we walked around, but...just wanted to be someplace COOL!    It hits you like a blast from a furnace!!!

I browsed around Barnes and Noble and bought my 2015 calendar which seems to be a tradition that I do that in the summertime while here in the Inner Harbor.

Bring on any and all events for 2015 - I'm ready!

So while we're dealing with all this heat, they are wearing long-pants and sweatshirts back home as a "cool" wave has hit them...

We walked up Federal Hill and had dinner at Porter's (an old neighborhood establishment).   We enjoyed this place with Philip many years ago when he lived here on his boat.

Just one of the many neat row houses on Federal Hill.

We are all geared up for the big 4th of July celebration and spectacular fireworks!
