Saturday - February 1

Happy Birthday
to my brother, Ron who is a very young and active "80" today!!!

It started raining around 7 last night and came down so gently most of the night and all day - wonderful and very thankful as we really needed it.

We helped (clean-up) at the regular Saturday morning breakfast (8-10).    First time for us to volunteer and we met some nice folks and along with Rog (neighbor) we were washing lots of crock pots, griddles, large pans, utensils, etc.    It's a great team effort but so fun and delicious! We served 181 folks and the rain may have kept some away.

Did a load of laundry and just hunkered down with our computers, I-pad and kindle.

So many friends watched the "Downton Abbey" series thru the 6 seasons.     I had no idea what all the hoopla and popularity was all about.   To tell the truth, I don't watch that much TV (would rather read), so was not that interested.    And now all these years later, Mark got the 6 seasons set up thru Amazon Prime.   I am sooooo hooked.    Just watched the end of season 2, so a lot more suspense, excitement and tears ahead.   WOW!!!!!

The characters, clothing, setting and storyline - love it all!!!!

Liam was chosen to be on the All Star team and played in Peoria (5 teams) this afternoon.    His yellow team won 5-2 and he scored a goal!

Yeah #4
