Tuesday - February 11

Hot today....no complaints when we hear what's coming to the Midwest - SNOW and brutally COLD temps.

We walked in the park and then drove downtown and while Mark got a haircut, I enjoyed a latte and my book at Java House.   Ran a few more errands and on home.    Walked to the clubhouse for the 1st annual health fair at Cypress Trail which Lydia was very instrumental in putting together,   Got our blood pressure checked and picked up pamphlets and other goodies from various health resources (stroke, COPD, asthma, emergency services, nutrition).
The blood drive was this afternoon, but still not clear to donate cause of the shingles vaccine - few more days and I'll be in the clear.

Back to Flo for lunch, shut the windows and turned on AC....

Sure feel for Rog and Martin (next door) as they've been without their main AC for over 4 weeks and the new one won't be installed until Monday.    At least they have one in their bedroom.

Allie and Owen came from North Port and along with Jim and Lydia, we went to the Original Shrimp Dock and met Paul and Kathy, John and Beth, their friends Dennis and Dot, Bob and Yvette, for delicious dinner followed by the Gatlin show - our favorite husband/wife duo who are soooo talented.    Another outstanding show.    Wonderful evening with family and friends!!!
