Saturday - October 23

Sticky, muggy, humid, sultry and not a leaf stirring....all of these describe this morning's weather when I went walking!    Today was Flo's turn for a good scrubbing and Mark got to that task and I rinsed and then washed the windows.

Been discussing the hot weather but folks who've been here since early October, say this is MUCH better than the 95-97temps and super humid conditions earlier in the month,    At any rate, we're all looking forward to some cooler stuff coming.

Chatted with our neighbor Dick who arrived several weeks ago (during the REAL HOT spell).    We talked about how much he enjoyed his Busy Corner pie when visiting Kamp Komfort this summer. 😉

Neighbors (Rog and Martin) on the other side of Flo were off to get their booster vaccine this morning.   So, we got on the internet and scheduled ours for next Tuesday.

Yesterday I mentioned that Mark and I would celebrate Christmas in FL for 1st time, but that's not true as we were with Philip, Annette and kiddos back in 2013 when Maeve was a new baby.    This will be the first in Fort Myers at our home.

We had a delightful afternoon visiting Jim and Lydia in their beautiful new RV....it is so spacious and well laid out!    Lots of chatter including coffees from their new Nespresso machine and rugelach (yummy chocolate and raspberry pastry) that is a Jewish pastry.

Today is Mark and Jim's sister, Marilyn's birthday so we 4 called to wish her happy greetings.
