Monday - August 1

Welcome August!    Sunny, breezy and 80ish....our phones went off with storm alert for next 24 hours,  Tomorrow the high is to be 76 and then 91 on Wednesday!

Catrina needed some attention and today I dug in with some good cleaning and tidying up!   That took up the morning.   Walked downtown and had another good lunch at Big Ed's - several restaurants are closed Mondays.    Stopped at Brewed Awakening for a latte and on home.

Catrina's woes continue as this afternoon the AC sea water circulation pump went out.   It's the original (18 years old)......Mark checked with several West Marine stores in the area and the New Olmsted, OH has one (45 minutes away).    Since we don't have a car or access to one - marina does not have a loaner and no car rental place in town, we are having it overnight shipped to Cheryl at Great Lakes Diesel.   Cheryl will deliver tomorrow like she did the part Mark replaced last week.   We'll need that AC by Wednesday when the 90's reappear.

Just incredibly unbelievable reading about and seeing the pics on the horrible flooding, loss of life (so many still missing) and total devastation in Kentucky.  🙏🙏🙏

The rain totally missed us - sure could use some, but green and yellow stuff on radar all went south.

We walked late afternoon and had a nice visit with a couple from Kingsville, Ontario

Nachos for supper and a quiet evening on Catrina.

These kiddos are vacationing this week in Jackson Hole (Grand Tetons) and Yellowstone!
