Saturday - September 3

Up and at 'em this morning and oh-so-ready for some coffee (latte) at one of our favorite spots.....well, that would be Coffee Express but always crowded so, went to Biggby which had a line a mile long (forget it), then to R Coffee Corner drive-in for our coffees and pastries.    On home....

Started reorganizing where I put some kitchen stuff in Flo and removed stuff I'm not using (we have a pile started for our Portage ReSale Center here.)

Day 8 - we feel good but energy level is not quite where we want it!    One day at a time.....

Around 2:15 we drove downtown, parked and walked with our masks to the Knights of Columbus tent (for carry-out).    We couldn't let the ice cream (Tofts)  melt, as "Life's too Short - Eat Dessert First" so we took our peach pie with peach ice cream (me) and vanilla (Mark) and sat on a bench in the shade.   Not many people downtown at this hour....left with our perch sandwich, fries and slaw for later!

Drove around in an area of Port Clinton we had not seen before - very nice homes on Sandusky Bay.

All the workers at the festival wore different colorful shirts promoting this big Labor Day feast!

Happy to report that neither of us took a nap today!    WOW.....not that there's anything wrong with a nap anytime!!

So, for the 1st time in 10 days, we had a ride in the car, coffee fix, delicious late lunch/early supper of perch and peach goodness and felt good this hot, sunny Saturday.
