Saturday - December 3

Brilliant sunshine and cold but much less wind today.    Nice to sleep in a bit - Connor went to swim practice.    Liam came home and then went to bed - late night for the boys sleepover?   I got all the laundry caught up.

Michael, Brooke and Blair went to Blair's piano recital last night then to dinner.   Just a few miles from home, they hit a deer.....fortunately, no one was hurt (bruised and scared), but car was totaled and the deer is history.    Their area has sooo many deer and always a concern when driving.

Anne is spending the day in Nassau - warm and sunny there.

Watched the world cup soccer game and the USA's loss to the Netherlands.   Bummer....felt so bad for those guys!

The boys spent 2 hours this afternoon volunteering with the "Stuff the Bus" program.    The CCHS students have to give 5 hours a quarter to community service (Salvation Army. Birthright, Midwest Food Bank, etc., etc.)    Stuff the Bus is celebrating 20 years in 2022 (I had never heard of it).   The collection is for diapers, wipes and formula for the Children's Home Aid and Crisis Nursery.   The top reasons families use this program include abuse and neglect, domestic violence and mental health.   😢😢😢

Pretty wreath was delivered today and makes a nice cheery holiday look + smells so good!

Tis the Season

I watched 3 Hallmark Christmas movies today    Always enjoy these.
