My patient is feeling better today but still weak. we both had a good night!
I got some big hugs from Bob and Donna (neighbors on "So Blessed"). And then I was off to 10:30 Mass with Father Jonathan at Immaculate Conception. Mark stayed home and watched online.
So good to be back with Father, Deacon Maury and other familiar faces. As always, a great homily by Father - he was a former teacher at St. Francis DeSales High School in Toledo and one of his students was Robert McMahon, our organist and music director (fabulous voice). Another student was caught cheating on an exam.......so the story unfolded how we cannot copy from someone else in school; however, in life we need to copy Jesus, the Saints, etc. Father has a knack of telling a personal-life story and comparing to the readings.
So my antsy hubby decided to go to Bassetts Hardware/Grocery and get some part which they didn't have. Felt better and ready to get out and about. But he's still taking it easy. hard to hold this guy down when he's so close to his boat.
I worked in Catrina's galley cleaning and organizing, got our bed made and a few other things.
At 5, several of us gathered under the tent for a cook out (delicious burgers grilled by Dennis). Lots of yummy food and so good to be with these folks again AND meet some new boaters. Mark stayed on Flo with his crackers and some chicken noodle soup. It was a beautiful evening
