Burrr.....after all the rain yesterday and last night, today was cold and dreary. We took several sweatshirts, hoodies, and coats with us and off to meet the Monday morning group (postponed from yesterday) at Egg Republic for breakfast. Love this place and another good meal and visit!

And then off to see Connor play his last game of his DACC career, We put on 5 layers and met up with Anne on the 5th hole. They had started at 8:30 and played 36 holes today. The temp at start was 50 but felt like 40.
Our golf star - Connor!
We were cold and the wind picked up so didn't stay too long.
Good to be back in warm Flo and had a quiet afternoon. Connor shot an 80, 81 and 77 for the tournament. DACC came in 5th of 9 teams.

Tonight we met friends Fred and Carol from Lexington at The Pickled Radish in Eureka. This is a favorite of all of us and we talked about getting together here for dinner when we were with them last summer on Drummond Island, Michigan.
It was so good to see them and catch up over a delicious dinner....and nonstop chatter. And found out we all have a love and fondness for coffee shops!!!
Hoping we can meet somewhere on Lake Michigan this summer.

Happy 54th Wedding Anniversary to Carol and Fred (tomorrow)!
