Rained during the night and probably our last "warm" day for awhile.
Did some laundry and packed - we are off to our nephew's wedding in Chicago on Saturday and then flying to Charlotte Sunday for a "sisters-in-law" 3-day getaway in Asheville. Mark and my brother Ron will hang out at Lake James. Wish Bob could join us, but fall harvest is underway!
Claire and I met at Biaggi's for a 2.5 hour lunch just sittin' and chattin' away as the rain came down.

Around 6:15 tonight we had the start of a real gulley washer - fortunately, it came straight down but very heavy, along with lots of thunder and lightning (I have these new clean windows you know)!!!
