After our big weekend in Rockford, we are somewhat back in the swing of Monday! I left Mark at 8:15 and he had the entire day (till 7:30 tonight) to hang out on Daisy, catch up on projects, etc.
I had breakfast with the Monday morning group, then 3 loads of laundry. Met Claire for lunch at Destihl (delicious and so fun to visit). Donated blood at the Red Cross, ran a whole bunch of errands and then met the Monday Night Friends (10) at Cracker Barrel for dinner. Whew wee......accomplished a lot today and we'll be ready to roll come Wednesday when we head back to Catrina.
This afternoon another storm blew thru - rain in Bloomington, but hail and HEAVY rain out here in Carlock. Daisy's 1st experience with hail, but no damage.
Tomorrow we are driving to Dixon, picking up Mark's Mom and taking lunch to Joan (Mark's sister) who is recovering from ankle replacement....
Mark and I really appreciate all the e-mails, texts, pictures and videos that were taken at the
Rockford Air Fest and shared with us from family/friends!
