We exercised and left Grace Harbor at River Dunes at 10:45. Again today....the HEAT is on! We cruised 36 miles and are now in Beaufort (Bo-fert) where we plan to hang out a few days. Laundry, shopping, walking around (although in this heat, the thought of leaving cool Catrina is not that appealing......we want to ride bikes, too, but???)

Our friends, Mark and Barbara from New Bern arrived around 5:30 with wine, cheese/crackers and 3 pints of freshly picked blueberries! WOW.....big thanks for all these treats and so fun to catch up with them. We were last together in February when we met in Venice, FL
After our wine and appetizers we walked to "Aqua" for delicious dinner....now, another new favorite in Beaufort. Mark and I walked on the boardwalk along the water on a very pleasant evening
after all the heat, but rain and storms are coming, according to radar!
